Create your own sculpture!

What principle(s) of design does your work best represent? Why?

My work best represents balance and variety because I included a few different shapes, but they all come together and make one thing.

What do you like best about your work?

I like my sculpture's little soccer ball because I think it looks pretty realistic and cool.

What would you like to change or alter?

I would probably liked to have made the person the right skin color, but it still looks pretty good. I also could have smoothed out some of the crinkles as well.

What, if any, problems did you discover working with the materials?

At first, the sculpture wasn't standing up because the legs were too skinny to support it, but eventually I figured out to make them a little thicker so it would stand up on its own.

This is me with my mom and sister after the 2013 Color in Motion 5K run

I have taken basic art classes in elementary school. Last year I took Art 1 and 2, and I enjoyed it. The reason why I am taking this class is because many people have been telling me how fun it is, and I like being able to express myself through art. In my daily life, I see paintings on walls, different kinds of ceramic utensils such as bowls, nail art on friends' fingers, and in music I listen to. Arts I enjoy are drawing, sculpting, posters, paintings, and other various things.
