Double Pinch Pot Critique

1. The most successful thing about my project was probably how well the glazing turned out.  I really liked the vibrance of the colors and the way theu didn't overlap.  I also liked how I made the leaves, even though some fell off.  My project met all the requirements, and I like how I tried to be unique and added chocolate to my strawberry.
2. The most challenging thing about my project was making the leaves, making all the seed depressions, and making the piece look realistic.  When making the leaves, I had really thin leaves so they hardened really quickly.  I had to work quick before it was too late, but three out of the five did not make it.  I noticed that I made many seed depressions, maybe a little too much.  I had to make sure that none of them punctured completely through the clay or that they were too close to each other.  Finally, when making it look realistic, I had to make sure it was the proper shape of a strawberry.  This took me a littlel bit longer than it should have, but I finally achieved the shape I desired.  When I cut out the lid, I was trying to make the chocolate have the dripping effect, and it was tricky.
3. I learned patience and consistency while creating this project.  It was hard for me to make every little detail, and it wasn't the best project I've everdone, but I'm still proud of it.  When I wanted to quit and call it a day, I kept going and finished.  I'm glad that I can take full credit for my work.
4. My grade should be a 5/5 for participation and creativity, but maybe a 3/5 for craftsmanship and skill.  I tried my best, but it didn't turn out exactly as I wanted.  I could've done better if I could redo it, but I like it.

Slab Box Reflection

1. I really liked how well the shells on my box turned out.  They look so realistic!
2. My box was a little unproportional on the corners.  One corner was rounder than the others.
3.  I can improve my handiwork by taking my time on the construction of my projects from now on.

Slab House Reflection

1.What you like most about the project

I like how well it all fits together because I thought I might have to make some adjustments.

2. What you like least and will improve upon.

I don't like hoe I didn't put a texture on my house's walls.

3. What techniques have you used well.

Slipping and scoring, small detailing, and designs of the house have turned out well.
